Welcome to our Web site!

In the next 17 minutes in Canada and the United States, pancreatic cancer will strike again and take a loved one from their family. Early detection and greater treatment options may have saved their life, but unfortunately there is insufficient research funding in this area. Research remains the key in the ongoing fight against one of the deadliest cancers known to mankind, pancreatic cancer.

We lost Toronto Argonaut great, Dick Aldridge, suddenly to this silent killer in 2004. To honour his memory and the memory of others who have died senselessly from this disease, we created our foundation to help raise public awareness and money to aid research efforts and achieve our ultimate goal - finding a cure. We are also focusing our attention on lobbying our Federal Government to increase their national funding for much need research and to follow the United States and designate November as pancreatic cancer awareness month. We hope you will join us in our fight.

Together we can make a difference...

We are currently providing financial support to a dedicated team of research doctors at Princess Margaret Hospital.

Their hope is that information from this study will lead to the development of novel and cost-effective screening tests for pancreas cancer

( See article below under EXCITING NEWS).   One hundred percent (100%) of all monies raised goes toward research.

A diagnosis of pancreatic cancer should not have to be a death sentence. Let’s change the feeling of despair to a feeling of hope.

Together, we can make a difference!

Thwack.Fore!!! A sold-out field of 216 golfers hit the links at ClubLink's picturesque Emerald Hills Golf Course, teeing off to raise over $60,000 in net proceeds that will go directly toward early detection research. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our generous sponsors and participants; without your enthusiastic support, this tournament would not be possible!

Several  Toronto Argonauts, including coach Rich Stubler, CFL Hall  of Famer Bill Symons, The Fan590 Colour Analyst and former linebacker Peter Martin came out to support this cause for their late friend, Dick. Argo running back Andre Durie read a letter sent by CEO of the Toronto Argonauts, Michael "Pinball" Clemons, that paid homage to Dick by describing our beloved “31” as a "magnificent talent on the field and a true ambassador of the game. His legacy will live on through our foundation and we thank you for helping us tackle this disease".

The Toronto Argonauts have set up a unique fundraising opportunity through the sale of tickets for the upcoming October 18th game against Montreal. Five dollars ($5) from every ticket sold through this exclusive offer will go towards our foundation. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to insure that this fundraiser is a SUCCESS! For more information, please click on the link below.

Pancreatic Cancer is a silent killer. By the time you realize you have it, it's too late! We have joined forces with Princess Margaret Hospital and their dedicated team of research doctors to fund a study that will determine the effectiveness of screening tools for the early detection of pancreatic cancer. Last summer, researchers had a breakthrough and discovered a test patient who   had early signs of pancreatic cancer. This discovery helped save a life. Perhaps in studying this lethal killer, doctors will discover a common link that will provide solutions for other forms of cancer.

A diagnosis of pancreatic cancer should not have to be a death sentence. Early detection is the key to eradicating this horrific disease. The greatest results are achieved when we all work together toward a common goal. We need your help as we continue to fight this battle.

Together we can make a difference...
